What should I be saving for retirement? - 15 yr retirement navy
I'm almost 25 years and I know he is already in my future planning. I currently contributes 4% of my salary to my 401k jobs. Match $ 70 for every $ 1 up to 15% of my salary. Well, this amounts to about $ 3400/year total contributions. We also have a company pension, but I plan not at all. Who knows if it's still there when I come to retire and who knows whether I will be in this position long enough to have created (7 years - I now have over 1 years).
I also pay $ 300 per month on my car and about $ 120 in student loans. I'm saving about $ 500 per month and have no debt credit card with no fees from time to time, as I usually pay up to 2 months.

My parents always told me to pay "me first. This means that I should contribute as much as possible into retirement accounts. If your employer is willing to pay 70 cents to 15% of your salary, you should really consider meetings with their contributions. The more you contribute now add up to much in the long run.
401K can choose what your business, how money is spent? If so, you should consider an aggressive growth tactics. I'm not saying that all the money spent on aggressive growth, but that's where much of it must go. The key is to diversify and your money work for you in a variety of ways. Since time is on their side, it can afford to be more aggressive and take more risks.
The compound interest over time accumulates, the more you contribute now, have more when you retire.
